Brush (ε·ε) β a scissor-class (εͺη±») move where one foot traces an S-curve while the other traces a Z-line through the cones.
Trajectoryβ
- S foot: weaves around cones in an S-curve
- Z foot: moves in a straight zigzag line
- Combined: creates a scissor-like crossing pattern
Step-by-step (forward brush)β
- Start: feet parallel outer-eight, body facing away from cone line
- Do half a back scissors to cross past the cone β maintain crossed outer-eight between two cones
- Slight squat at knees β use waist/hip force system β rotate ankles ~45-90 degrees
- Lower body follows upper body's rotation (involves body turning)
- Open the crossed legs to pass the next cone β feet open shoulder-width, landing on both sides of the cone
- End position = starting position (outer-eight parallel) β can repeat infinitely
Key pointsβ
- Waist/hip initiation, not ankle-driven β the hip force system (θ °θ―εεδ½η³») powers the crossing
- Opening width = shoulder width, no wider
- The body turn in step 4 is what distinguishes brush from a simple scissors
Variantsβ
- Forward brush and reverse brush β same principle, different facing direction
- ηΉθ§ Brush: five-wheel (toe) state throughout β the most commonly seen form
- Front brush is harder β requires significant ligament flexibility
Extension potentialβ
Brush is highly extensible via movement_extension_method:
- Element addition (add pivot β pivot brush)
- Element substitution
- Deconstruction and recombination
